Running a limited company in the UK means you must prepare and file accounts every year.
Atex Business Solutions takes the stress off your shoulders and makes sure your accounts are prepared properly, explained clearly, and filed on time - in plain English (no jargon).
What we do for you
When you use Atex for your limited company accounts, we will:
- Prepare your annual company accounts
We turn your bank transactions, invoices, and receipts into a clear set of accounts that meet UK requirements.
- File your accounts to Companies House
Every limited company must file by a strict deadline. We handle the online filing so your company record stays compliant.
- Send the accounts to HMRC
Your accounts also need to go to HMRC as part of your company’s tax position. We prepare and submit them in the format HMRC expects.
- Explain the numbers in plain English
We don’t just “file and forget” - we help you understand your profit, costs, and what’s changing year on year.
- Proactive deadline reminders
We track your year-end and filing deadlines and remind you in advance, so you’re not hit by last-minute panic.
Note: Your
CT600 Corporation Tax Return is covered separately - this page focuses on the accounts.
Your legal duties as a director
As a director, you must:
- Keep accurate records of income, expenses, assets, and debts
- Prepare annual accounts that give a true and fair view of the company
- File accounts with Companies House by the due date
- Provide accounts to HMRC so they can check your tax position
If accounts are late, Companies House applies automatic penalties - and if accounts are not filed at all, your company can be struck off (closed).
Deadlines you need to know
For most private limited companies, your accounts filing deadline is usually 9 months after your financial year end.
Example: If your year end is 31st December, your accounts must normally be filed by 30th September the following year.
Let Atex take care of your limited company accounts, so you can focus on running your business without deadline stress.
